Pyunkang Yul Moisture Set Review

Simple ingredients and simple beauty – this is the Pyunkang Yul

About the Brand:

Pyunkang Yul is a Korean brand developed by Pyunkang Oriental Medicine Clinic which is known for using herbal medicines to treat illnesses for nearly five decades. The brand believes in simple beauty; thus, carefully selecting only the key ingredients for skin moisture and balancing. This brand is cruelty-free and their products do not contain any fragrances, colour, and other additives.

I had an irritated skin last month so I was looking for products good for hydrating, soothing, and recovering damaged skin. This led to buying this set.

Set Inclusions and My Experiences:

  1. Pyunkang Yul Mist Toner

This contains only 5 ingredients. The texture is watery thin and this product comes in 200ml spritz bottle.

This is super duper hydrating. I never encountered a toner like this. It is great for dehydrated and damaged skin, as well as the sensitive skin type as it does not contain any fragrances and other artificial additives.

2. Pyunkang Yul Moisture Ampoule

This contains only 6 ingredients. The texture is gooey and sticky. It does not also fully fill the dropper as it so thick.

I used this daily at night to lock in some moisture. It was effective on that part. However, I don’t prefer using this in the morning as it is not that blendable and it tends to make my skin oily after use.

It absorbs fast though it feels so sticky upon application.

3. Pyunkang Yul Moisture Cream

It contains 14 ingredients and this is great for sensitive, oily & acne-prone skin.

The texture is so creamy, it’s close to lightweight, blends well and absorbs fast on the skin. It is so moisturizing and it leaves a supple feel after use.

Buy or Bye?
Buying the Mist toner in the future. It is a must!
Bye Moisture Ampoule. It’s just too thick and sticky for my liking.
I’m undecided about the Moisture Cream. It is a great product but I have more creams to try on.

Keep glowing!
